Basic scope and primary objectives:

To manage and support the accounts receivable team, ensuring collection of cash in line with permitted terms;

Support the accounts receivable team in resolving customer queries in a timely manner, engaging with the wider business as required;

Provide insightful reporting to the Group to include cash collection vs targets, aged debtor reporting;

Overall responsibility for managing the Group's risk through monitoring customer credit limits.

Key role responsibilities:

* Take overall responsibility for the team of credit controllers, overseeing the management of accounts receivable ledgers for the Group;

* Oversee improvements in underlying processes with the ultimate aim to improve the Group's ageing profile;

* Actively monitor customer credit limits and notify the Group of any risks identified;

* Work closely with the Billing Manager and sales teams to co-ordinate and resolve customer queries;

* Work with the Group Financial Controller to establish a regular suite of reports to be made available to the business, including but not limited to, the Group's position with regards to cash collection, improvement in the Group debtor aging profile and bad debt risk.

* Set monthly cash collection targets for the team;

* Work with the team to maintain low levels of outstanding debt across the Group.

Education and experience requirements:

* Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable management role

* First-hand experience in managing a team

* Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills

* Strong organisational skills

* Advanced Excel skills

* Confidence in reporting to senior stakeholders
