Credit Control Manager - 6-month fixed term contract

Salary - competitive

T2M resourcing are working with a highly successful global organisation who have an opportunity for a Credit Control Manager to join their team, this role is initially offered as a 6-month fixed term contract. As Credit Control Manager you will be joining a busy and vibrant working environment in prestigious offices in a City Centre location. In this role your primary focus initially will be to engage with internal stakeholders and customers to proactively drive down overdue debt.

As Credit Control Manager your remit will include the following:

* Taking hands-on responsibility for reducing overdue debt

* Building strong relationships across the business and with customers to understand any queries, proactively working to resolve these

* Oversee the management of the Credit Control function

* Ensuring focus is maintained in key areas including cash collection and debtor days

* Ensure cash received is posted in a timely basis

* To keep abreast of the latest changes in the credit management world through contact with external credit managers, credit circles and credit forums

* Develop and maintain a strong control framework, in line with agreed SOX controls and best practice

To be successful in the role of Credit Control Manager you will have the following skills and attributes:

* At least 5 years' B2B experience in a Senior Credit Control role within a shared services environment

* Large company experience is desirable

* A hands-on approach, resilient, hard-working and determined to drive down overdue debt by building relationships both internally and with customers

* Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with people at different levels throughout the organisation and in particular senior management and directors

* Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively & to work to and meet deadlines.

* Able to demonstrate strong operational control and process knowledge

* Flexible approach and adaptable to a changing working environment

* Demonstrates initiative and anticipates needs of the organisation and therefore operates in a pro-active manner

* Engaging with high levels of determination
