Credit Control

JHE & Partners are working in partnership with a long-standing and highly successful employer in Bradford who are looking for 2 credit controllers to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a superb opportunity for a candidate looking to progress and work for a leading player in their industry.

Working in a small credit control team and reporting into the senior credit controller, this is an exciting position that will test your customer service and collections experience working on a ledger with the sole aim of reducing debtor days.

Duties include:

• Recoup debt owed via telephone, email and letter across the Group's UK and European function
• Deal with queries and work closely with the wider finance team
• Place accounts on stop
• Work closely with sales and business development teams agreeing credit
• Negotiate payment terms in line with company policy
• Ensuring all audit requirements are met to a high standard
• Deal with customers in a calm and confident manner
• Making record of debtor days using spreadsheets

This is a very fast-paced role and would require someone with a good level of credit control experience, happy working in a team but with a good degree of autonomy to make the role their own. Hours of work are typically 37.5 but the client will look at part time options depending on experience etc. Salary on offer will pay up to £25k with one day working from home. skills.
