Credit Control Your new companyThe Credit Controller role is within the Finance Department, reporting into a Credit Control Manager. The Credit Controller will be responsible for chasing bad debt and PR Clients and the automation of the processes surrounding these. Ideally this person must be able to demonstrate credit control experience with a proven track record of collecting cash from a high volume of creditors using effective and efficient methods. The role is base in central Bristol and offers hybrid working.Your new role

  • Collecting monies from customers & contacting them by Email and Telephone.
  • Administering client invoices via the finance system
  • Account reconciliations and statement processing
  • Purchase orders - Understanding of purchase orders, chasing clients to obtain purchase
  • order numbers, maintaining detailed and accurate records
  • Dealing with BACS remittance queries, telephoning client's accounts departments
  • Minimising bad debts
  • Assist with departmental end of month duties including the processing of credit

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of dealing with high volume of customers on monthly basis
  • NetSuite knowledge advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Maintaining a good client relationship
