Our established client, based in Kettering, is recruiting a Credit Controller/Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will report to the company Finance Director, with particular focus on recovering outstanding debt and providing an overview of the aged debtors. The candidate will also be responsible for managing all direct debit collections and support the accounting function by ensuring monthly invoicing is prepared and distributed.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

Recovering outstanding debt from customers
Reporting aged debtors
Managing all direct debit collections
Raising manual, ad-hoc invoices and credits for customers and suppliers
Preparation of monthly consolidated invoicing and reporting
Miscellaneous customer reporting (Both for internal and customer use)
Creating customer sales ledger accounts
Entering customer credit limits
Sending monthly statements
Liaise with administrators regarding customers in receivership
Treasury management
Responding to customer invoicing and payment queries The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:-

Previous credit control experience 2 years +
Strong IT skills (financial systems & Excel)
Excellent organisational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
