Customer Account Advisor
12 Month FTC immediate start
WETHERBY - Monday/Thursday Friday 3 days home based - Tuesday Wednesday 2 days Office based in Wetherby.
£22,800 PLUS £4K BONUS INCENTIVE
One of my renowned clients based in Wetherby, is looking for an experienced Credit Controller that ideally has a good knowledge & understanding of reading company accounts and debt management.
You will be responsible for 800 key client ledger accounts, so I need someone that has managed a high monetary volume ledger previous or has experience with a debt management company.

This is not a heavy credit control role it is very customer service driven giving customers empathy and help to be able to assist with payment and still supply materials for their businesses. If you are looking for a customer account manager role then this would be great if you have a solid telephone based customer support background.
The Credit Controller role is 3 days home working - Monday, Tuesday and Friday home working with full support and 2 days Tuesday/Wednesday in the office in Wetherby.
Customer service is essential for this role as these are ongoing B2B key customer accounts you will be managing. These UK based customers place volume monthly orders with the business so its imperative that this is a soft collections role.
The role is 36.25 hours per week (08.30 - 16.45 Mon to Fri) managing the 800 credit ledgers for UK customers of around
£12 million.
Managing payments and customer debt by telephone and email
Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements
Liaising with the sales ad accounts teams to resolve outstanding queries
Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliation's to credit insurers
Investigating and resolving queries relating to none payment of invoices
Assisting and advising customers of finance options to help them continue their businesses and be able still supply
Processing credit limits for new customers
Managing aged debt
Release of new sales orders once credit approved
Customer reminders
Monthly management reporting - excellent Microsoft Word & Excel needed
You will need to have previous customer service or credit control experience of working in a busy and pressure finance department.

Excellent Excel skills, a polite but tenacious telephone manner and good systems knowledge is what we are looking for.
