Atkinson Moss is currently seeking a Credit Control & Export Administrator to join a large Norwich company, office based 5 days a week with car parking and a subsidised canteen.

The role is within the Finance Department and reporting to the Finance Manager.

Main duties:

Credit Control:

* Liaising with Customers to ensure the timely settlement of invoices.

* The administration of Customer Ledgers, including the raising of manual invoices and credit notes.

* Ensuring all electronic invoices are processed correctly.

* Setting up new Customer Accounts & Carrying out Credit Checks to decide on payment terms.

* Processing Customer payments when they come into the bank.

* Working closely with the Sales Department to deal with problems quickly and efficiently.

* Month End Reconciliation and AR Close.

Export Documentation:

* Raising invoices for export shipments and ensuring the account is set up correctly to meet the export requirements.

* Preparing any documents requested by the customer or necessary for the customs clearance of the goods.

* Ensuring the documents are sent to the freight forwarder for customs purposes.

Experience and skills:

* This is a busy role and needs someone who can work quickly and efficiently.

* Experience of Credit Control in a busy environment.

* Knowledge of Excel and Word

* A working knowledge of Export Incoterms would be an advantage.

25 days annual holiday plus bank holidays.

Working hours are 8.30 - 17.00 with an hour unpaid lunch.

£23k-28k+ depending on experience.
