Your new company
Your new company is a leading provider in its field and due to increasing demand is looking for some support admin to help support the credit control team. You will be expected to have some finance awareness if not a finance graduate.

Your new role
This role has come about due to a restructure after the company heard their employees suggestions with the way the credit team should develop.

The team is now running smoothly and is doing better than ever in terms of bringing in money for the company. They now need more heads to help the credit team to be able to deliver brilliant service.

Your new role would be to support the credit controllers administratively, but you will be expected to have hopes of going into credit control yourself as there is a linear progression system in to that position.

Duties will include:

  • Working closely with both the Credit Control and Invoicing Team, providing support and assistance as and when required.
  • Liaison with sales force on new accounts and general queries.
  • Raising Manual Invoices and Credit Notes and processing credit & re-invoice requests.
  • Taking incoming calls (queries and complaints) from customers, sales, billings etc.
  • Investigating, logging, resolving disputes professionally and communicating back to originator.
  • Processing credit card payments.
  • Sending out Statements, Invoices, Reminder Letters etc.
  • Filing, faxing and photocopying Invoices etc.
  • Covering other members within the department.
  • To assist in maintaining a satisfactory level of general housekeeping within the department.
  • To carry out additional responsibilities as may be requested by the Management.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be expected to have an interest in finance and degree in finance. Also, you would ideally have experience in query resolutions.

Outside of this it is still worth applying if you fit the following profile:
Skills: Very good knowledge of Excel & Word, good attention to detail, good communication and IT skills, and is able to work on their own initiative in a busy office environment. More importantly, the ideal candidate will be a good problem solver, proactive, well organised, focused and confident and enjoys working in a highly targeted environment.
