Business Development Manager-Financial Services

Specialist Skills & Knowledge:
Proven experience of working in a financial services sales role with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Autonomous: able to self-motivate and focus on goals and activities while working on one\'s own
Experience of lead generation
Sales negotiation and communication skills
Able to build rapport and long term relationships with clients and build productive networks
Prioritisation: determines the importance of each task and allocates time accordingly
In depth familiarity and knowledge of various contract structures in order to provide a consultative solution
Knowledge of current economic climate and how it affects the market
Understanding of financial intelligence e.g. analytical reports and financial grading

The individual is responsible for the acquisition of International and domestic debt placement programmes and the sale of products. The sales model for this role is Direct to the end client, working via a number of internal and self-generated sources of business.

To deliver new business sales to meet individual target.
Liaise with the Head of Direct and EICC Departments adhering to Group and UK Rules and Standards.
Develop interest and awareness within the UK; the international collection network and information packages available to secure profitable business for the company.
To look for opportunities for all product lines, thereby maximising contribution.
Develop and build a network of introducers to provide new business leads.
To work closely with Commercial Management, the Marketing Department and any Telemarketing resource employed, in managing leads and feeding back activity results.
To work closely with the \"Administrative\" teams to ensure a timely and efficient service to prospects and clients.
Convert internal leads.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Delivery of budgeted targets for new debt placement and information sales. Generate and follow up leads and appointments through own networking and proactive prospecting as well as using marketing resources
Update and maintain the CRM system
Manage relationships with prospects and introducers
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders
Produce accurate contract documentation
Do full KYC (know your customer) and UBO (ultimate beneficial owner) checks on all policies sold
