Robertson Bell are excited to be supporting with a renowened Charity based in the heart of London to recruit an interim Assistant Accountant - Purchase Ledger on an initial six month contract.

You will join an ambitious, tight-knit, team managed by a Finance Director who is passionate about providing opportunities for personal development and to experience new areas of finance, where possible.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant - Purchase Ledger will include:

  • Preparing, and ensuring the timely delivery of weekly payment runs.
  • Undertaking detailed reconcilitions of supplier accounts.
  • Providing crucial support on the implementation of a new finance system by training new users on Sage 200 and migrating data.
  • Processing supplier invoices in a timely manner and answering queries from internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recent experience in a role overseeing the entirety of the purchase ledger.
  • Be an experienced user of Sage 200 (6 Months+).
  • Possess first class communication skills and be comfortable engaging stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • Be studying towards a CCAB qualification, or be AAT qualified.
  • Be available at no more than one weeks' notice.
