We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts/Credit Controller for our client based in Basildon. The ideal candidate must have 2 years accountancy experience within a similar role.


* Creates, revises and maintains filing systems.

* Managing in house accountancy system

* Raising and posting invoices to the ledger.

* Reconciling supplier statements ready for payment.

* Dealing with supplier queries.

* Handle the company's credit control, issuing statements, chasing debts, ensuring all customers' accounts are settled within our terms.

* Matching suppliers' delivery notes to invoices.

* Handling and reconciling debit card & fuel card payments.

* Raise sales and purchase orders and delivery notes.

* Assist Finance Controller as required.

* Answering phone as required.

* Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare


* Strong problem solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.

* 2 years Credit Controller experience

* Proactive and innovative

* To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

* The ability to prioritise workload.

* The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment.

* Good written and verbal communication skills
