Accounts Cashier / Purchase Ledger Clerk

Are you an experience Accounts Cashier or Purchase Ledger clerk with knowledge of the construction industry? Do you want to work in a personal team for a well established and highly reputable company who value their employees? There is a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 on offer aswell as free on site car parking.

Responsibilities include:

* Completing cash allocations

* Performing monetary transactions on the computerised system

* Issuing receipts

* Issuing credits

* Balancing the cash book daily

* Ensure suppliers and sub-contractors are paid in a timely manner

* To ensure any manual payments are processed in a timely manner

* Ensure all details in the system are accurate and that any changes are verified

* Processing invoice payments

* Provide relevant documentation to suppliers as and when required

* Keep all relevant data accurate and up to date

* Supplier statement reconciliations

Experience & Skill Requirements:

* Experience in an accounts function is essential

* Strong Excel knowledge is a must

* Knowledge and experience of the construction industry/ CIS payments will be highly beneficial

* Excellent communication and strong customer service skills required
