Accounts and Purchase Ledger

Role

A challenging and varied role in our clients Finance team in Elland tackling a range of duties including:

* Purchase ledger. This is a big purchase ledger being group head office with large invoices to analyse between multiple cost centres.

* Analysis of large invoices in Excel

* Bank transaction processing & reconciliations

* Group Bank Reports

* Fleet Management

* Licence checks

* Maintain congestion zone, bridge crossing & online parking accounts

* Book servicing of spare vehicles on site

* Fleet admin. (process fines, new driver packs)

* Potential for an element of management accounts to be included as the person and role evolve

Advantageous Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

* Sage Accounts 50

* Experience of working in a multi-site business

* Excel spreadsheets & basic formulas

* Good communicator both verbally and in writing/e-mail

* Ability to plan & manage own workload to meet deadlines

* Salary for 37.5 hours per week c.£23k
